Trash Service

The amount of supplies that you need to remove the trash from the facility depends on the size of the location that you are cleaning. Trash bags are a necessity. You may also want to invest in a large bucket with wheels that you can push around as you empty the contents of various trash cans. Some products are also available that have a small trash compartment and space to place your mop bucket in one unit that you can push around.

Basic Cleaning

For janitorial cleaning supplies that you need to complete the basic dusting and wiping down of surfaces, you need to invest in several cotton rags. A feather duster can also be used to dust desks, accessories, shelves and ceiling fans. Stock up on liquid cleaners to use with the rags to wipe down surfaces and window cleaner for washing the windows. Antibacterial sprays can also be used on solid surfaces.

Bathroom Supplies

One of the most important sets of janitorial cleaning supplies that you will need include items to clean the bathroom. Rags, bathroom cleaner, a toilet bowl brush and a product to change the color of the water are a few of the cleaning supplies you need. You will also need to restock the bathrooms with toilet paper and paper towels.

Cleaning Machines

Depending on the size and needs of the business, you may need some cleaning machines. A buffer is a machine that moves a buffer pad in circles to make the floors more shiny. You may also need supplies to strip and wax the floors to create a sheen.
